This picture is from a night spent in Shinjuku with our friends, Kimie and Akira. The lady in the center is Aya, who teaches belly dance to Kimie. She is surrounded by the percussion group who accompanied her dance that night. The gentleman standing to her left is her husband.

"A Tokyo Wedding" Now available as a book!
"A Tokyo Wedding" is a photographic documentation of our friend, kimie's (you may know her from "Kimie's Story", a few posts back) wedding day in May 16th. 2009 in Tokyo, Japan.
It was created by Ayumi Sakamoto and Ronald Patane (A.K.A Hugheaven) as a wedding gift.

Tokyo gals from early 90's....
One summer night in the early 90's. At some club in Shinjuku, Tokyo. My high school days. こわい〜
Since then, two are in NYC, one lived in Miami, one is in Berlin, one is a web designer, one is an interior designer, one got married with G.I. in Yokosuka, one gave a birth of twins, one runs a million-dollar business... as far as I know.
