Annual beach trip to Jones beach, Long Island.  Mr. Shige (on the right of the photo) rents a 15-passenger van, plus some folks w/ zip cars, organized by Mr. Mike Nogami.  BBQ actions and watermelon splitting (スイカ割り) . This tradition has been around since 1980's.

Shinoki's BBQ Cookout in Brooklyn

Many thanks to Shinoki, the grill master. We got to taste a variety of super-juicy steaks, burgers, and etc...
