I've started a new blog!

This blog is actually an online magazine that covers how to sculpt our own style of life.

I'll be featuring a variety of people's style, environment (neighborhood/community), sound, idea, food, shape, and vibe, ... etc.with my pen, sword, and CAMERA.

Reiko! and Roy

A hat designer, Reiko! and her husband, Roy (teaches photography at high school and artist himself) at their apartment in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

Rfive Design is an collaboration between Reiko Tomita (millinery and fashion design) and Roy Reid (photography and graphic design). They apply their creative sensibilities to fashion, home design and fine arts.

Reiko also creates amazing Bento art for her husband.

Kimie in NYC 2008

Kimie, a peer girl friend of mine from high school in Japan. It is very funny how I could relate to her almost the same way as I used to, 15 years later here in NYC. We went to dance clubs, drank, laugh really loudly (I thought it's just me), flirt boys, staying up late, etc... just like how we were when we were teenagers. I saw a part of me in her.

Tradition

Ristorante "Piccola Venezia", one of the most traditional fine Italian restaurant in the NYC area, and it is actually located in my neighborhood, Astoria. They even have a table called "Tony Bennet Corner". The atmosphere is one of the kinds.
